Artist Collaborations | for brands that want something handmade, intentional, and rooted in a life lived close to nature.

I partner with boutique hotels, restaurants, beauty/wellness brands, and sustainability-focused products to create artwork that brings that natural, tactile quality into spaces or stories that need a bit more human touch

From commissioned paintings for physical spaces to surface designs, prints, and visual content that extends the story of a piece beyond the canvas.

If you're building something and want art to be part of how it's experienced, I'd love to hear about it.

Sweetgreen is known to support local artisans by turning to artists in the area for artwork when a new location is opening. I was commissioned by Sweetgreen to paint a series using pigments that related to the natural environment. They used the series of four to open a new location in LA. After the first collaboration, they reached out for another store openneing and I make a second series of four paintings for an additional LA area location.

RŌZ

White wooden ladder shelf holding various jars, boxes, and bottles, with some fabric rolls leaning against the back of the shelf.
A woman with long wavy hair sitting on a wooden stool, painting a mural on a wall in an art studio. She is dressed in white and surrounded by painting supplies and artworks.

To celebrate the undone, natural beauty of the canyon and their new product Canyon Waves, RŌZ commissioned me to create a painting that reflects the spirit of the Canyon and the colors of their new spray.

A woman with long hair, wearing white pants and a sleeveless top, stands in an art studio holding a palette. The studio has a large abstract painting of beige tones on the wall, a small white art cart with supplies, a ladder with art supplies on the right, and a stool. The floor has some paint splatters.

By Rosie Jane

A white box with the text 'Everything's Rosie' on the inside lid. Inside the box are three cosmetic products: a tall box labeled 'ROSIE everyday body milk,' a shorter box labeled 'ROSIE Eau de parfum,' and a round item engraved with 'by/ rosie jane' and 'HANDMADE IN TAIWAN CALIFORNIA 2013.'
Collection of skincare and body care products including a body milk, perfume, a bar of soap, and a small spray vial, all branded by Rosie Jane, arranged on a neutral surface with sunlight.

By Rosie Jane, a fragrance brand, wanted an artist’s touch for the celebration of their flaship scent ‘Rosie’. I made ceramic scent discs to add to their specially gifted boxes and support their message of ‘a moment to feel’. These discs are made from 100% terra cotta, each one is hand made and meant to to be sprayed with perfume and kept in your lingerie drawers, travel bag, or wherever you want to keep a secret smell good moment.

Cuyama Buckhorn

A building with a sign that says 'HOTEL' and a large orange sign reading 'CUYAMA BUCKHORN' on the side.

Cuyama Buckhorn a restored boutique hotel in Santa Barbara County’s high desert, hosted me for a residency where I explored the natural pigments of the surrounding land and used to create a painting for their restaurant as well as a bandanna design based on their landscape for them to offer in their gift shop.

I later came back for a second collaboration for wayfinding signage around the hotel and some petit murals on common area walls based on locally celebrated

The Artist Edition XL Forever Candle

I partnered with the wonderful, clean and enviornmentally consious candle company, Siblings. I created a small batch of these limited one-of-a-kind XL Forever Vessels. Only 50 were made and they sold out in a day. We did a second run of them the following year, a larger batch, and they sold out in a few days.

We’ve established an ongoing relationship working together and have done other collaborations, including single-wick candles, packaging surface design and ingredient illustrations.

A person wearing a cream-colored T-shirt and holding a beige tote bag with a black line drawing of a lizard on it. The person is looking at a bottle with a blue label and an illustration of a man in a red shirt.

A favorite local wine shop in Venice, Vin on Rose, came to me for a logo influenced by abstract art, accompanied by some supporting illustrations to remind people that good wine can be fun, and doesnt have to be stuffy or pretentious
